Gestational art, or pregnant belly painting is a fun and artistic way to celebrate and capture this most precious time in your life. Every mother can expect their experience to be a unique and relaxing time. Each custom work of art can be designed with the baby's name, nursery theme or parents hobbies in mind. The sky is the limit! An artist from A Little Bit Of Bling will interview the mom-to-be to find out what ideas she may have and then goes to work designing her special project. It can be discussed ahead of time, or a complete surprise! All work is performed using only high quality, water based, professional face and body make up. It is completely safe for mom and baby and is simply removed with soap and water.
Who should consider belly painting? Anyone who would like to commemorate this amazing journey! A framed belly print can be displayed in the nursery, be a centerpiece in the scrapbook, or even be used as photos for the baby shower invitations! And you don't have to worry that your belly isn't perfect, round and blemish free! Our artwork will give you the perfect belly to share, show and be proud of!
So how does it work you ask? Well, we arrange a time and comfortable place to meet, at the mother's home, maybe the baby shower or a friends place. We provide a comfortable, zero gravity chair for mom to relax in while we make the art happen, and then, mom gets to enjoy the peace and relaxation as her belly is transformed! Once the process is finished, mom gets to admire her masterpiece and then we photograph her in her all her beauty! We will provide a cd of candid photos of the whole process including the finished art for mom to keep, share and cherish forever! The whole process is usually completed in approximately 2 hours however it may be a little less, or a little more depending on the complexity of the design.
